Organize your research with Projects
You're juggling multiple research projects. Your chats are scattered across chat history, and your matrices, patent analyses, and documents are mixed together. When you need to find something specific, you waste time scrolling and searching.
The Problem
- 12 chats scattered across your chat history
- "Where did I put that research?" (daily question)
- Re-doing work you already did
- 45 minutes to compile project status
The Solution
Create projects to group related research. Each project becomes a container for chats, matrices, patent analyses, news analyses, and documents. Artifacts can belong to multiple projects, so you can organize them however makes sense.
How It Works
1. Create a Project
Click Projects in the sidebar to open the Projects page, then click [+ New Project]. Give your project a name and, optionally, a description.
2. Add Research to Projects
From chat: Look for the folder icon button in the chat header. Click it to add the current conversation to one or more projects.
After running an analysis: On the Research Matrix, Patent Analysis, and News Analysis pages, the folder icon button only appears once you've completed an analysis (since you can only add something to a project that actually exists). Click it to add the results directly to projects.
From saved research: In My Analyses, look for the folder-plus icon button next to each item. Click it to add matrices, patent analyses, or news analyses to projects.
From knowledge base: Add existing documents to projects from the Knowledge Base page using the same folder-plus button.
Artifacts can belong to multiple projects, so you can organize them however makes sense.
3. View Everything Together
Open any project to see all related chats, matrices, analyses, and documents in one place. Each project has tabs for different artifact types, making it easy to find what you need.
The Result
- Open a project and see all related items in one place
- Find research in seconds instead of minutes
- Compile project status in 5 minutes instead of 45
- Never lose track of important research again
Coming Features
Here's what we're planning to add to Projects in the future:
Search across everything in a project - Find any information across all chats, documents, and analyses within a project with a single search.
Auto-generate project reports - Get comprehensive summaries of all research in a project, automatically generated for quick status updates.
Smart suggestions - Get intelligent recommendations like "This chat seems related to Project X" to help you organize research more efficiently.
Project monitoring for new relevant research - Automatically track and notify you when new research becomes available that's relevant to your projects.
